Update From Chile

Hi everyone!  Greetings to you all in the brotherly love of Christ, I wanted to write to you to tell you a bit about my first few weeks visiting my homeland, Chile.  It has been a very special trip as we have finished an important stage in our lives, which has to do with finishing up the process that we lived with our church family in Yumbel.

After arriving to Concepcion, Chile, the next day I had to travel back to Santiago to participate in the conference of the Methodist Pentecostal Church of Chile, where Pastor Nelson and his wife Marcela from our church in Yumbel would be ordained and presented to the assembly.   I thank God for the opportunity to be here in this special stage of their lives and to see the time of discipleship that my wife and I had with them be completed.
After five days in Santiago I returned to visit my parents and our brothers and sisters from the church in Yumbel.  It has been a unique and special time, even along with it’s challenges, but I am constantly seeing how God glorifies Himself through peoples lives.
I ask you to continue praying for the churches that I will be visiting and for the people that I will be preaching to over the next couple of days.  The days here have been exhausting but gratifying all at the same time!
God bless you all!
Sincerely,
Jorge Santana
